Once your booking is completed, you will receive an automated email with the booked date and time along with the information you entered. You will also receive a follow-up email from us to confirm that we have successfully scheduled your appointment.
If you signed up for an account when booking, you will be able to view and change your appointments online, based on current availability. If you didn't, please contact with your new appointment time at firstname.lastname@example.org. If your requested time is not available, we will work to find an open availability.
Scans are done of all heated and cooled square footage of the main property, including walk-in closets. We do not typically scan pantries or closets that are not walk-ins, as this can impede on the flow of the finished tour. Upon request, we can scan attached garages (be sure to include that square footage when booking). Check out our Samples page for examples.
The tour can only scan spaces that are connect by an enclosed path through doors and hallways. Structures such as detached garages, sheds, and pool houses cannot be scanned as part of the tour. These spaces can be included but will be 360 images that you can access through links on the closest exterior wall. If needed, we can scan detached spaces as it's own tour, but will need to be included in the total square footage when booking. Check out our Samples page for examples.
For best results, you'll want to walk through the property beforehand, and make sure everything is in place and ready for scanning. Make sure all blinds and curtains are open and all lights are on and working. Keep in mind that the camera turns in a circle, so you can't shoot around things, like you can with a regular camera. Items that you don't want shown on the tour can be moved from the room before and put back once that room is completed.
If the property has a Supra lock, our photographer is a licensed GA Realtor with lockbox access, so you have the option of having unattended access. Otherwise someone can be at the property to meet the photographer and stay during the appointment. It's all up to you, we don't mind either way!
Our photographer is a licensed GA Realtor, so you have the option to stay at the property or allow the photographer to complete the tour unattended and lock up afterwards. If you or the homeowners will be there during the tour, you will only need to be out of view from the camera as it completes each scan. We will let you know if you need to change positions.
Your links will be delivered via email, within 24 hours from the booking time. Some tours can be ready the same day. If you need them sooner, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
You will get a branded web link and an embed code. The branded link has all of your contact information and can be used on social networking or emailed or messaged directly to others. The embed code is used to embed the tour directly on your personal website without using the branded link (the link redirects users to the Matterport site where the the embed code will allow users to view the tour in a window without leaving your site).
You will get a MLS specific link. This link should be added to the "Showing" section of the listing. You'll paste the MLS link into two fields, which are "Virtual Tour Syndication" and "Virtual Tour IDX Unbranded".
Information listed on the tour can be easily updated on our end. The information will update on the links that you already have, so you will not need new ones. Please contact us with the changes needed at email@example.com, and we will get it corrected as soon as possible.
Your tour will be hosted online for 1 year from the scan date. Some customers may need tours to be hosted long term, such as builders and businesses. For these customers we will contact you before they expire to discuss options for extending hosting or transferring the space to the customer's own Matterport account. A fee will be required for additional hosting.
